The woman in the dress is a Vietnamese immigrant from California filming a music video amongst the rubble to appeal for aid at home and in America for the thousands of Vietnamese in Biloxi who lost their homes, jobs and everything else to Hurricane Katrina.

What building is that behind the woman? Is it like that from the hurricane or the demolition after?

That is a wild image... But I personally am getting kinda sick of how everyone flocks to this event like they are the rizzen lord christ...

We get it, you are a great person for donating 50 cents to some popular cause... I personally cant be happy with things, even when I donate money. I am upset. Thats my gift to those hurt by katrina. The fact that I am pissed off and it isnt going to go away.

I think that everyone wants to contribute something because they do feel bad. And the more people flock to this "event", the more publicity it gets, and the less likely it will be forgotten tomorrow. And as long as there is publicity on help being needed in Mississippi and Louisiana, there will also be donations of money, food, and things necessary for daily living that us people in our comfortable and intact homes tend to take for granted. So I say, let people flock there and donate their 50 cents if that is what they can contribute. And let people make music videos to encourage relief. And let us never forget our blessings, and those who have so much less than we do, no matter if it's due to a hurricane, mental illness, or just plain old misfortune. Let us do more than just feel bad, or pissed off at the circumstances. Let us raise awareness and give of ourselves.

It's weird that you said the Asian woman is an immigrant, instead of an american. Isn't it a put down or something like the French who call their 2nd or 3rd generation French minorities as immigrants instead of citizens.
