The Hurricane Camille monument in Monument Park in Pass Christian. There are 60 names of Pass residents there. Camille's eye passed over the pass. So did Katrina's.

It just shows that no matter what we humans erect, nature can take back down.

So, what part of "Get the fuck out" did you guys fail to comprehend? Good luck with the rebuild, and also with the next dozen hurricanes that hit your town before you all finally figure out that it's time to move.

Does your mother know you talk like this, Mr. "Anonymous," Mr. "I know so much I'm afraid to give my name??" Is your world really so black and white?? Good luck developing some character, Clueless.

Riotous. Bravo. Just remember: I'll be the one laughing when the next hurricane sweeps through the exact same area, wiping out two monuments instead of just one. Of course, you're all more than welcome to call my bluff and move out there. I'd imagine the area has some immediate openings for optimists. :)

You're a moron. Anyone who concludes their asshole "you deserved it" schtick with an internet smiley face, has just called they're own bluff that they are, in fact, not very intelligent. As you yourself put it, it's riotous.

Nobody DESERVED this, you asshole.

I mean "their" own bluff. My righteous drunken anger against this prick has caused me to spell incorrectly. Don't you dare think it's because I am stupid.

You are an cowardly pussy with an opinion so despicable you wouldn't dare associate your own name with it.

You should apply for a job at FEMA.

I wouldn't dream of picking on you for not knowing how to spell "their," particularly in a drunken rage--I think you're stupid for entirely different reasons. I certainly haven't stated, and do not believe that anyone necessarily *deserved* this. But god hates the south, so what can you do?

Well if God hates anyone he has sure picked the Buff for some wild retribution in the past. I would love to see the city of NO come back safely and soundly but if it were me looking to rebuild after this Hell, I think I'd be looking a little further North. It is too painful to see these photos and I wish everyone safe return to wherever they call home.

Wow, "Anonymous," you must have secret information about the city in the USA that is guaranteed to be completely immune from natural disasters, because I wasn't aware there was one. Moron.

You're right, Cheryl. Besides living with blinders on, the Moron was raised by wolves. Hey moron, you don't get love if you don't GIVE it, baby.

Hi, guys. This is The Moron reporting. I'd just like you all to know that I take it all back. As a show of my sincerity, I'm in the initial stages of planning to found a town at the base of an active volcano: Mount Saint Helens. While I realize this might sound like a "stupid" idea, I have faith that Christ will cover my ass. Failing that, I now realize that the entire country will clean up the mess for me and hold me blameless if the situation goes to pot. God bless you all.
