it is not uncommon for their to be incredible amounts of support from religous charities. I hope that the recovery effort will be increasingly succesfull.

It is amazing to me that so many churches and private relief agencies were responding to their fullest ability before the federal government ever bothered to show up! I can hardly wrap my mind around your situation! I pray that the entire region can truly be reborn, better than what it ever was. I hpoe that all of yall's stproies don't fade from our consciousness after a year or so, like everything else in this 30-sec news blip culture.
